Installation procedure

The installation procedure is straightforward. Please run the downloaded executable file and follow the instructions.

Fixed issues

Issues related to Acronis Active Protection:

  • Acronis Active Protection blocks Acronis Access installation and operation.
  • In the Windows notification area, Acronis Active Protection notification is incorrectly scaled.
  • Backups can be manually deleted in Windows Explorer when Active Protection is turned on.
  • Improved support of CD drives in Acronis Active Protection.
  • Acronis Active Protection blocks access for the Google Chrome browser to Acronis True Image registry keys.
  • Acronis Active Protection blocks access for GifCam to Acronis True Image registry keys.
  • Issue with artifacts on the Acronis Active Protection recovery screen.

  • Processes with valid digital certificates were considered as critical system processes in the permission list.

Known issues

  • Backup comments are not visible in the data recovery dialog.
  • Comments are not available for nonstop backups.
  • The Search dialog does not support recovery of several files from different versions of a backup.
  • A backup cannot be moved from a password-protected network to local drives or to another share.

Acronis True Image for Mac OS X

Installation procedure

The installation procedure is straightforward. Please launch the .dmg file, and then drag the Acronis True Image icon to the Applications folder.

Fixed issues

  • Some cloud backups are not displayed in the Acronis Cloud web app.
  • The "File authenticity cannot be confirmed" error is displayed after clicking 'Verify', right after completing a notarized backup.
  • Acronis True Image is not responding after restarting the Internet connection and completing the notarized backup.
  • A mobile backup cannot be opened after the second scanning of a QR code.
  • Two identical archives are present in the desktop console after selecting the archive with the 'Recover files from existing backup' command.
  • In Finder, Acronis Drive does not display a folder that has a trailing period in its name.

System requirements

Operating systems:

  • macOS Sierra 10.12
  • OS X El Capitan 10.11

Installation procedure

  2. Run the application.

Known issues

  • It is possible to download a file previously deleted in the Acronis Cloud web application, and the file is corrupted.
  • Playback of a backed-up video file stored on a computer does not work.
  • Incomplete backups configured and started with the desktop app are listed, but cannot be browsed.

System requirements

  • An iPhone, iPad, or iPod running iOS 8 or later.
