Acronis True Image 2019 for Windows

What's new

  • Acronis True Image now supports three new languages: Bulgarian, Indonesian, and Turkish. You can switch the language in the Acronis True Image "Settings" tab.
  • Bug fixes and other improvements.

Fixed issues

  • The error "Unable to save the bootable media configuration" appears in the Acronis Survival Kit wizard when trying to recreate media on a USB disk after it has been reconnected.
  • Based on AIK, WinPE media created in Windows 7x86 directly to a USB flash drive does not boot if the flash drive was formatted by the "Add new disk" feature.
  • Backup to Blu-ray optical disks failed in Acronis True Image 2019 if the backup is split within several disks. The following error appears: "Error occurred while opening the file."
  • It is not possible to create WinPE bootable media on a USB flash drive by using Acronis Universal Restore Media Builder.
  • A cloud file backup of an empty folder fails with the error "The specified file does not exist."
  • After performing a search in the cloud file backups, the second search attempt fails.

Known issues

  • [TI-133559] Backup comments do not reappear after reinstalling the product for file backups to Acronis Cloud.
  • [TI-127741] File recovery to the original location from Acronis Cloud fails if the original file is locked.
  • [TI-115928] After the computer is woken up from the sleep mode, the archiving operation fails. The following message appears: "Write error."
  • [TI-54006] Some files remain on the local PC after archiving if the Internet connection is lost for some time during the archiving operation.
  • [TI-100468] Acronis True Image requests credentials for a mapped public network share during the backup destination selection.
  • [TI-164038] Cloud backup upon event system shutdown/restart goes into the loading state if the Internet connection is turned off and on, and if the Acronis True Image application stays open.

It is possible for the software to work on other Windows operating systems, but it is not guaranteed.

Acronis True Image 2019 for Mac

What's new

  • Acronis True Image now supports three new languages: Bulgarian, Indonesian, and Turkish. The language of Acronis True Image will be changed automatically if the system language is changed.
  • Bug fixes and other improvements.

Fixed issues

  • "You are using the latest version of Acronis True Image" is displayed when manually clicking "Check for updates" after clicking "Skip this version" in the update dialog.
  • It's not possible to change the keyboard layout in the Sign-in window after adding a new layout in System Preferences.
  • Acronis True Image crashes on running a notarized backup after upgrading from an Advanced subscription to a Premium one.
  • The first slice of a backup is displayed as incremental in the Activity tab, after upgrading from Acronis True Image 2017 to Acronis True Image 2019.
  • Disk Cloning fails on machines that have the Apple_KernelCoreDump partition.
  • File-level backup of a Parallels Desktop 10 machine to Acronis Cloud fails with the error "Failed to load Parallels SDK."
  • Cloning a Mac to an external drive with the Master Boot Record scheme fails with the error "Cannot get the name of the device."

Known issues

  • [TI-133560] Backup comments do not reappear for file backups after reinstalling the product to Acronis Cloud.
  • [TI-119797] An incremental backup starts automatically after the system disk was recovered to the original location.
  • [TI-80267] The Recovery HD partition is not mapped automatically during recovery if the OS uses CoreStorage.
  • [TI-77461] The archiving operation is not paused after losing connection to the destination device and does not start after reconnecting.
  • [TI-80948] In the case of an unstable network connection, the recovery from a network share may fail. The following error appears: "The end of file has been reached."
  • [TI-147647] During the cloning operation of a source drive with two or more APFS partitions, the following message appears: "Cannot create APFS container."
  • [TI-161942] Backup to the second mounted share of the same NAS fails with the error "Access to the file is denied."
  • [TI-162567] Cloning an iMac with Fusion Drive to an external drive fails if the iMac has a Windows Recovery partition.
