About this release:
Release date: 23 Sep, 2010
Build: English, German, French
Downloadable Basic of Acronis Drive Monitor: 507
Fixed issue:
Improved integration with Acronis Backup & Recovery
Known issues:
Certain hard drives may not report correct S.M.A.R.T. information
In some cases Acronis Drive Monitor may be not able to read S.M.A.R.T. parameters due to I/O controllers and software drivers that do not support transferring of S.M.A.R.T. information or require driver-specific implementation. The following actions may help to enable the S.M.A.R.T. monitoring: enabling S.M.A.R.T. support in BIOS, updating the driver of I/O controller, upgrading to an operating system that supports S.M.A.R.T., or using a custom script for monitoring. Also it is possible to report the unsupported hardware to Acronis by accessing the link from Acronis Drive Monitor interface (Disk overview page).
